Josh Bishop

Josh Bishop serves as Executive Vice President and Senior Director of the single-tenant net lease sector for Matthews™. He specializes in discount retailers, dominating the sector nationwide. His comprehensive knowledge and years in the industry allow him to provide his clients with data-driven and experience-based guidance through the entire transactional process. His day-to-day includes mentoring young brokers, expanding the company’s single-tenant net lease sector, locating unique opportunities, and creating a collaborative working environment. Josh’s relentless work ethic continues to raise the bar for what is expected of a commercial real estate broker, performing at a consistent level of greatness, averaging 100+ closings annually. Josh has solidified his presence as not only one of the top-performing agents but also the most hardworking, with total sales volume reaching nearly $1 billion throughout his career.

Prior to his current role at Matthews™, Josh spent several years at Colliers International, working with the nation’s largest developers, institutions, syndicators, high-net-worth private clients, lenders, and private equity companies. Before his tenure at Colliers, Josh taught high school mathematics in central New York. He also mentored youth through tutoring sessions and preparation courses for the New York State Regents Examination.
