Katie Carpenter
Katie Carpenter currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™. She manages corporate financial management and strategy, including managing the firm’s accounting records and the production of financial reports. Katie has utilized her extensive knowledge in tax, accounting services, and experience in real estate to renovate and revamp the entire Matthews™ accounting department. Throughout her time at Matthews™, Katie has successfully leveraged technology, integrated AP automation, and payment solutions to support the company’s rapid growth, and implemented an advanced purchasing solution that improved employee spend tracking across all departments and streamlined the workflow for purchase approvals. Her ability to take a system or product and use technology to make it more user-friendly, efficient and effective is unmatched in her workforce.
Katie has over ten years of accounting and tax services experience. She joined the commercial real estate field after working with a myriad of real estate clients at a local CPA firm and learning the challenges the industry faced when it came to accounting, billing, and taxation.
