As Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Spencer will oversee the company’s legal departments, including risk management and compliance services, and company policies, among other matters, alongside the Matthews™ Executive legal team.
With fourteen years of legal experience, including six years in-house within the commercial real estate investment brokerage industry, Spencer consistently demonstrates exceptional dedication, strategic insight, and legal acumen. Since joining Matthews™, Spencer has continuously played a pivotal role in guiding the company through complex legal matters, providing invaluable counsel, and contributing significantly to the company’s success.
Prior to joining Matthews, Spencer was vice president, assistant general counsel to Marcus & Millichap. In 2023, ConnectCRE recognized Spencer for his accomplishments, honoring him as a top lawyer in real estate.
