Stew Weston is a highly accomplished real estate advisor with over 30 years of experience in multifamily brokerage, specializing in existing multifamily, land, and ground-up multifamily development across Southern California. Throughout his distinguished career, Stew has successfully closed over $13.4 billion in sales volume, facilitating some of the region’s most notable multifamily transactions. His deep understanding of Southern California’s diverse sub-markets, product types, and market dynamics makes him a trusted advisor to institutional investors and developers.

Before joining Matthews™, Stew held the position of executive vice president at CBRE until 2024 and previously spent 25 years at Institutional Property Advisors, the institutional division of Marcus & Millichap, serving as executive director. Stew attended the University of Colorado Boulder and then transferred to California State University Long Beach where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
