Zan Colin

Zan Colin is an Associate Vice President at Matthews™ based in Dallas, Texas, where he specializes in multi-tenant retail. Zan has a proven track record, completing over $350 million in sales since starting in brokerage in June 2020. He focuses on servicing clients in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and the greater state of Texas. He has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker and has been featured in industry publications including Globe St. and Commercial Observer for his involvement in notable commercial real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Matthews™, Zan was an Associate Director with the Levy Retail Group at Marcus & Millichap, where he focused on the sale of retail shopping centers and strip centers throughout Texas. Earlier in his career, he began at Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office during the COVID-19 pandemic, selling multifamily and mixed-use properties in Manhattan.

Before entering commercial real estate, Zan worked within the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) at the White House, contributing to economic policy initiatives while attending The George Washington University as a student. He graduated from The George Washington University School of Business in 2020, where he was a member of the university’s lacrosse team, the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and the Finance and Investment Club. He continues to mentor and assist university students pursuing careers in commercial real estate.

Zan grew up in Miami Beach, Florida, and Alpharetta, Georgia. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, their dog Ozzy, and family. Zan enjoys playing sports, working out, and watching UFC. He is also a principal in a family office that purchases commercial real estate, giving him a deep understanding of the clients he serves.
