The Software Engineer in our culture values reliability, performance, and automation. Key Job Characteristics: 

• Web App development (React and Typescript). 
• API and SQL Database development (Golang, Python,  graphQL, and Postgres). 
• Work with containers, Kubernetes, networks and storage, and clouds (primarily AWS). 
• Use CI/CD concepts to automate every workflow we can, including Terraform and data manipulations. 
• Troubleshoot issues with metrics, logs, and other debugging tools. 
• Communicate with leadership about problems, solutions, and technical needs outside of product features. 
• Be unafraid of any technology, particularly unknown technologies, while being careful of simply following the crowd. 

Requirements: 

• Some web application development experience, no specific technology or framework required. React strongly preferred. 
• Experience with typed languages outside Typescript, no Golang specific experience required. 
• Experience with web foundations like DNS, networking, Security, etc. 
• A disdain for toil as defined by the Google SRE book. 
• SQL understanding at or above knowing how to use a Left Join. 
• Other duties as required.

Pay Range: $80k/yr-$145k/yr depending on capability level and industry experience.
