National Brokerage Welcomes Ed Laycox in Washington D.C.

 

WASHINGTON, D.C.  — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, welcomed Ed Laycox as executive vice president. Laycox, based in Washington, D.C., focuses on the acquisition and disposition of multi-tenant retail in the Mid-Atlantic region.

 

Laycox brings 25 years of commercial real estate experience to his role at Matthews™. Most recently, he served as vice president within the National Net Lease Group at SRS. In addition, Laycox served as president and founder of Urban Acre Investments, an investment firm focused on urban retail, net lease, and anchored retail. Prior to founding Urban Acre Investments, Laycox was positioned as a senior director at Colliers. Throughout his career, Ed has closed over $1 billion in sales volume across 200+ transactions.
