Kansas City, MO — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, completed the business and real estate sale of a Montessori School Portfolio located in Lee’s Summit and Kansas City, MO. Matthews™  FVP & Director Clay Smith and Associate Matthew Gibbs represented the seller in the transaction.

 

The transaction involved the sale of two properties, which will continue operating as childcare centers. The buyer, a prominent private childcare operator with 150 locations nationwide, acquired both the business and real estate assets.

 

“Through a robust marketing campaign and our proprietary database of investors, we were able to create a competitive bidding environment, leading to seven offers, and ultimately closing with the most qualified buyer with great terms for our client,” Gibbs said.

 

The buyer, currently operating 10 schools in the Kansas City area, intends to maintain operations at the centers while expanding their presence throughout the Midwest.
