The transaction sold for one of the highest price per square foot for an industrial property in the Atlanta submarket, in addition to setting a cap rate record for a Beacon Roofing Supply location with three years or less on the lease term. Associate Vice President Harrison Auerbach handled the transaction.

 

Matthews™ represented the seller, a private client, who was looking to complete a 1031 Exchange and capitalize on the strong market. The seller received a great price and an efficient transaction process, closing in under 60 days. Auerbach is currently working with the client to secure an up-leg for their Exchange.

The buyer, a large out-of-state investment firm, was motivated to acquire the property to fulfill quarterly requirements. Auerbach sourced the buyer through the brokerage’s extensive database.
