Hooper, UT— Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, completed the sale of 86,533 square-foot Hooper Self-Storage, which holds 349 indoor and individual drive-up units. The property is located at 5215 West 4000 South, Hooper, UT. Associate Ben Tracy and Vice President and Director Simon Assaf represented the seller in the transaction.

 

The seller, a private investor who purchased the facility approximately 30 months prior, capitalized on the property’s value-add development, achieving their goal of relinquishing the property at a strategic price to reallocate capital into other developments. The self-storage facility was acquired by a buyer eager to increase their footprint in the area that sees more than a two percent annual population growth and is directly off a main road connecting east to west.

 

“The seller capitalized on the area’s continuous growth throughout the next five-plus years,” said Tracy. “Most of the land east of freeway 15 has been built out, pushing future development in the area.”
